Stockport born acting star Michelle Keegan has kindly donated a voice over fee for a Stockport County  Club promotional video to the charitable fund of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Stepping Hill Hospital and community NHS services in Stockport.

The Club donated £75,000 at the start of the pandemic and now combined with Michelle’s donation and other fundraising initiatives; it brings the total to £89,000.

The Club has also gifted the sleeve sponsorship to the Stockport NHS Foundation Trust for the upcoming season, with a donation being made for every shirt sold.

Club owner Mark Stott said: “We cannot thank our local NHS enough for their heroic work during these difficult times. As a community Club we will do everything we can to support our local healthcare and key workers. We would like to thank Michelle for supporting our efforts and look forward to welcoming her to Edgeley Park next season.”

Louise Robson, Chief Executive of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust said: “Stockport County FC have been a huge source of support to us ever since the start of the Covid19 public health emergency, and it’s wonderful to see that continue with the donations from their shirt sponsorship. We’re proud to see our logo on their shirts, and we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone at the club, and to Michelle Keegan too, for all they have done for us.”
