Information Technology Services

The IT Services Team provide support for existing vital business applications and infrastructure, including the growth of our network architecture and an extensive wireless network which will find new applications.  We continue to develop and support a range of clinical document and corporate document management systems.

About our service

Amongst the IT services provided throughout Stockport NHS Foundation Trust we: 

• support over 120 different systems
• support network cables, cabinets, routers
• manage over 2,000 PCs, laptops and mobile devices
• operate a consumables `shop` for the Trust
• receive 600+ calls per month for routine support
• carry out regular daily operational activities
• carry out capacity management monitoring
• operate a basic out of hours on-call service
• manage 70+ projects (this year).
