Young patients at Stepping Hill Hospital’s Treehouse children’s unit got a welcome surprise when players from Stockport County FC dropped in to give them presents.
Together with club mascot Vernon Bear, Club President Steve Bellis and Santa Claus himself, the team brought festive cheer with a selection of chocolate boxes and soft toys.
The visit was arranged from Stockport County Community Trust, and Stockport NHS Charity, which helps to improve the health and wellbeing of patients by in Stepping Hill Hospital and community NHS services by delivering services above and beyond ordinary standards.
