Years of service, care and dedication were recognised at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust  Long Service Awards held at Stockport Country’s Edgeley Park.

Staff working at both Stepping Hill Hospital and community services were awarded for either 20, 30 or 40 years NHS service by the trust’s Interim Chair, Marisa Logan-Ward.

Nurses, midwives, speech therapists, occupational therapists, administrators, personal assistants, healthcare scientists, health visitors and many other professions were represented, showing the wide variety of roles providing local care.

Over 80 honoured staff guests were present, and over 200 awards given out in total – representing over 5,500 years of service.

Recipients received a certificate, voucher, and a citation on their service from colleagues.
