People interested in a career in healthcare are invited to the Stockport NHS health careers insight day on Saturday 7th October at Stepping Hill Hospital.
The event is suitable both for those with long experience or who are entirely new to healthcare. It’s also suitable both for those looking for a particular role, or those who just want to find out more about a career in the NHS.
Healthcare and employment professionals will be on hand to offer friendly advice, and a number of vacancies will be open to apply for on the day.
Several pre employment vacancies will be open to apply for on the day. Professionals from a wide array of disciplines will be available to discuss career options, in areas including nursing, midwifery, paramedics, radiography, pharmacy, finance, HR, catering, domestic roles and more. The NHS has over 350 career options, all of which can be explored here.
The fair is being run by Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, who run Stepping Hill Hospital and community NHS services in the areas, together with partners Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, North West Ambulance Service, Stockport college and Health Education England.
The event will be held on Saturday, 7th October, 10am-4pm, at the Pinewood House education centre on the Stepping Hill Hospital site. Parking is free on the day.
