Two of our cancer clinical nurse specialists from Stockport have joined with colleagues across Greater Manchester in promoting a role on a special day created to highlight the service.

Rebecca Costello and Jennifer Piercey feature in a specially created video alongside GM colleagues for National Cancer CNS Day to talk about how rewarding they found their role.

Over twenty clinical clinical nurse specialists work at Stepping Hill Hospital and in the Stockport community, working together with colleagues all year around to provide care, treatment and support for people with cancer. 

Currently, across the UK, growth of the cancer workforce is not keeping pace with the increasing demand for cancer services, and so National Cancer CNS Day has been launched to encourage recruitment, and to let nursing staff know about the opportunities which it opens up to them.
