Dementia Awareness Day

Do you want to know more about dementia?

Everyone is welcome to come along to our dementia awareness day on the 25th May 2018. The day includes short informational and interactive sessions on dementia care. Throughout the day you will learn about the latest hospital and community initiatives which help support people to live well with dementia.

Meet teams from Stepping Hill hospital, Adult social care, Home Instead, Alzheimer’s Society and SBMC libraries.

Guest speakers include:

Rachel Roberts-Newton (Adult social care), Duncan O’Sullivan (Head chef at Stepping hill hospital), Michelle Delaney (Home instead), Emma Smith (Matron for dementia care), Michelle Hewitt (Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council libraries), Maureen Hughes (Adult social care)
