Board meetings and documents - Stockport NHS Foundation Trust

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust (SFT) and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (TG ICFT) have been working collaboratively for several years. Both Trusts have committed to deepen this collaboration and develop a joint organisational strategy to improve healthcare services for people in our communities and the staff who work in our organisations.

While both Trusts will legally remain separate NHS Foundation Trusts, our Trust Boards have agreed to align governance arrangements and delegate authority to a Joint Board Committee (known as the Joint Board) from 1^st April 2026. The Joint Board includes the Board of Directors for Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. It will provide unified oversight of both organisations’ performance and our strategic ambitions, allowing the Trusts to work together to take strategic decisions.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the public part of the Joint Board meetings. The meetings will be accessible via MS Teams. If you would like to observe a meeting, please email [email protected]. Your request should be received before 12 noon on the Wednesday prior to the meeting.

Public Joint Board meetings are held every two months from 9.30am and the schedule of meetings is set out below. Meeting papers will be available prior to the meeting.

A small number of matters have not been delegated by the statutory Board of Directors of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust to the Joint Board. When a meeting of the Board of Directors is required to consider these matters, the meeting dates and any papers for items to be discussed in public will also be published on this page.
