This week is national SAS Doctors week and we’re celebrating the vital role Specialist and Associate Specialist doctors play in the care we provide.
As part of the week our own SAS Doctors lead Professor Madapura Shashidhara has a blog on the national BMA website on the importance of enhancing the visibility of SAS doctors an and the important role they play in treatment and care, entitled ‘Making the invisible visible.’
‘Let this be a week when SAS doctors are seen and heard. When people see what SAS doctors are already doing, they can also imagine what more they could achieve when given the right opportunities.
This SAS week, let us make our SAS doctors visible, value what they already bring, and give them the opportunity to grow further.’
