Sixty years of love were celebrated with fundraising to support future patient care at Stepping Hill Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

Christine and Walter Henderson raised £1,560 on their special wedding anniversary for the unit.

They dropped in as a family with daughter Claire to give personal gratitude and thanks to the team for the life-saving care given to Christine during 2019/20.

The donation was arranged through Stockport NHS Charity, the local charity for Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, which helps to improve the health and wellbeing of patients in Stepping Hill Hospital and community NHS services by delivering services above and beyond ordinary standards.
