Background and profile
Dr Maryna Brochwicz-Lewinski has been a Consultant Radiologist at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust for over 22 years. She is a subspecialist uroradiologist with a particular interest in gynaecological imaging, including gynaecological oncology, endometriosis and pelvic floor imaging. She is a member of both the Gynaecological Oncology MDT and the Pelvic Floor MDT, supporting multidisciplinary decision-making and patient-centred care.
Alongside her clinical practice, Maryna has held a number of senior leadership roles within the Trust. She is currently Site Medical Director and has previously served as Clinical Director for Radiology, Associate Medical Director for Clinical Support Services and Trust Cancer Lead. Through these roles she has led work relating to patient safety, clinical governance, quality improvement and service development across the organisation.
Maryna also contributes nationally to the advancement of radiology through her role as Chair of the British Society of Urogenital Radiology (BSUR), supporting education, professional standards and collaborative working across the specialty.
