Background / Profile
Dr Emma Reid has been a Consultant Radiologist at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport since 2011. She has a keen interest in teaching, supervision and mentorship and completed a PGCert in Postgraduate Medical Education at Edge Hill University. She is an Educational Supervisor and Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) examiner.
Dr Reid has held educational leadership roles within the North West School of Radiology (NWSOR) as Less Than Full Time (LTFT) Advisor and Training Program Director (TPD) for Trainer Development. She served as President of the Manchester Medical Society Imaging Division in 2022-23. She was a faculty member on the RCR Supervisor Skills course from 2022 to 2026.
Dr Reid has a specialist interest in chest imaging, in particular interstitial lung disease (ILD), as well as undertaking a wide range of general and acute imaging.
