Background / Profile
I’m a consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Stepping Hill Hospital (Stockport NHS Foundation Trust). I’m the Endocrinology Service Lead managing the endocrine investigation service, delivering outpatient dynamic testing and management for complex thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions.
I earned my medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Târgu Mureș (Romania), I completed a Master’s in Molecular Biology at the University of Bucharest, and I hold a PhD in Genetics from Queen Mary University of London (William Harvey Research Institute), with published research focused on endocrine genetics and pituitary disorders.
