Background / Profile
I’m a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon specialising in the care of patients with disorders of the shoulder. My special interests include the management of all shoulder conditions, particularly sporting injuries, degenerative conditions and painful shoulders in general.
I undertake arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery for soft tissue tendon injuries, shoulder instability, impingement and numerous other painful or restrictive shoulder problems. I perform joint replacement surgery for shoulder arthritis and cartilage transplant/regenerative techniques for localised or early arthritis.
I have an advanced practice in the management of complex tendon injuries and irreparable tendon injuries.
