The Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Stepping Hill Hospital offers practical and holistic support for anyone affected by cancer, both within the local community and beyond. Whether you have been diagnosed with cancer, are supporting a loved one, or have been affected in any other way, our dedicated team is here to provide personalised information, guidance, and support in a welcoming, non-clinical environment.

About the centre

Conveniently located within Stepping Hill Hospital, the centre has been designed to provide a calm and comfortable space where you can access support, ask questions, and talk openly in confidence. Facilities include two private, quiet rooms for confidential conversations, a complementary therapies room, and a peaceful courtyard garden.

We provide information in a range of accessible formats and offer practical and emotional support across all aspects of living with cancer, including:

• Managing physical health concerns and treatment side effects
• Emotional wellbeing and psychological support
• Financial guidance, including benefits, travel costs and insurance
• Budgeting and debt management
• Employment advice for both employees and employers
• Signposting to specialist services and local support organisations

Whatever your circumstances, our experienced team is here to listen, offer expert guidance, and help you access the support that’s right for you.

The centre is open Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 4:00pm.
