Our Charity`s Impact

Here are some recent examples of how your donations have been put to good use to help patients, staff and visitors at the Trust. Thanks to generous supporters we have been able to provide:

• a specialist ultrasound probe to help prevent blindness
• a medical treadmill to enhance lung fuction tests
• epidural pump kits for theatres
• treat hampers for our hardworking staff
• specialist music therapy sessions for the patients on the Bluebell ward at The Meadows Hospital
• upgraded bathroom facilities at the Swanbourne Gardens Children’s Respite Centre
• televisions for patient beds in the high dependency unit
• online tablets to help patients keep in touch with their families
• a specialist bed and mattress for the delivery suite
• Christmas gifts for patients in Stepping Hill Hospital
• the introduction of the Sound Ear noise system to the intensive care and high dependency units to promote a peaceful and quiet night time environment for patients
• sofas, armchairs and footstools for patients and visitors on the Older People wards
• support for staff on training courses
• equipment for pharmacy staff
