Welcome!

Stockport Birth Centre is on the 3rd Floor of Stepping Hill Hospital.
With two birth rooms and a pool room, it is run by a team of midwives and midwifery assistants.

The Birth Centre is here for women who could choose to have their babies at home, but who feel more comfortable coming in to hospital to actually give birth.

We look forward to welcoming you and your partner or birth companion at the Birth Centre.
