Both kids and staff on our Stepping Hill Hospital’s Tree House children’s ward had a fantastic time when visitors from the magical world of JK Rowling came to visit.

The ward was visited by supporting cast members in full costume who had appeared in both the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film, and the upcoming sequel Fantastic Beasts: the Crimes of Grindelwald, both based on the same written world Rowling created for Harry Potter and friends.

The visit was organised by Hoot, the Harry Potter-themed charity store based in Stockport. The fantastic cast gave out special cakes baked at the store and a whole host of other presents, while delighting children with magic displays from the movies.
